L from the Javier Mariscal mural at the Design Museum
It seemed a good idea to include this bright and cheery hand drawn L, as it’s right on our doorstep, decorating an exterior wall of the Design Museum.
We pass it every morning on the way to our office. On a dull day, it makes us smile. On a sunny day, it transports us to Spain.
It’s part of a bigger, brighter mural, designed by Spanish artist Javier Mariscal for an exhibition he had at the Design Museum in 2009. Check out his custom letters, too.
