elsie’s l

elsie_L
This may be our most experimental L yet in that it’s not structurally an L at all, but a pictorial representation of what the letter L stands for.
It caught our eye at the Pulse London show in June, which we visited for a good old nose and some inspiration.
It’s designed by illustrator Catherine Rozdoba-Hallows for her soft furnishings label, Elsie Dodds, and is part of a whole range of alphabet cushions with gorgeous graphics.
It’s such a nice concept – a cushion with both adult and kid appeal, and something you can happily revisit over and over to suss out all those hidden Ls. And when you’re done puzzling, you can turn it around and enjoy the bold simplicity of the other side.
Hope she does a range of books, too.
