Though we have lots of lovely work from clients at the moment, we’re managing to squeeze in a couple of self-initiated projects. It’s good to have that balance.
One of them uses a font that we’ve fallen in love with (secret for now), and it’s designed by New York-based art director and type designer Haley Fiege of the aptly named Kingdom Of Awesome.
Haley also designed this chubby, swirly beauty, which we’re guessing is called ‘Parakeet‘ because it begs to be displayed in a rainbow of colours.
Her Kingdom of Awesome foundry (girl type designer – yay!) describes its fonts as ‘happy, quirky and just serious enough to get the job done’.
We couldn’t agree more and we can’t put it better ourselves, so we’ll leave you to admire her handiwork.
